Very happy overall, ratchet system makes it really nice to quickly tighten before I have to climb, and a quick release to loosen the shoes when you don't need them tight. insole is a bit thin, and the toe is tight. Wide toe would be great. Still very happy. I will buy again.

Right toe box feels a little tight in morning. Foot soreness has not reoccurred since new shoes. Really like the lace system. Walk on concrete 9 hours a day without sitting as auto mechanic

Overall the quality of the shoe is good. I like the strap system..only issue is have is it seems the US shoe sizing is off a size..I usually wear a size 10 in every kind of shoe, so I figured your sizing of 10 to 10 1/2 may be slightly larger, but they feel like 9 to 9 1/2. Too tight!

Shoe is generally well constructed and comfortable. Both of the tightening mechanisms have failed, and the internal padding is wearing long before the rest of the shoe.

I have been through a lot of composite toe shoes, I can let you know in about 10 months, you are the 4th company that says they are the Best, the others have failed with break down of the souls, inside the heal and souls cracking, the outside material does not hold up. Right now, I have been using your shoes for 2 months. I have to give it the same amount of time to give a honest review.

Use euro sizes when ordering. US size runs small.

This shoe is perfect and has everything I want in a safety shoe but overall it needs two things:
1. Specific middle sizes instead of ranges (in my case a true 10.5 on 10-10.5)
2. Wide or EE width sizes.
If these were added I would buy these shoes again.

I have large (15) feet my only issue is the width of the tongue it is hard to keep it tucked in as you turn the knob

The shoe is too heavy and uncomfortable fit for me, I will be returning this product.

love the ratchet laces!!!! wish it had a better insole for arch support, but than again i have to replace all my insoles in everything. very comfortable to wear!

Better than expected!

First off I love the lace system. I was not sure if it was going to provide even pressure like you can achieve with standard laces but to my surprise they tightened across the entire top of the shoe with no effort. I often pop off my shoes to use my Blakladder knee pads during the day and this allows for quick exit and slipping back on the shoe with no effort at all. I wish they would have a better insoles this is subpar. So far after wearing them daily for a week they feel comfortable with slight pressure on the back of my upper heal. I am sure this will calm down quickly. I will be buying a new insole which will make them more comfortable to stand on. I use these daily while standing, walking, climbing ladders all day long.

Can’t get the knob to loosen. So the shoes are usesless

Very comfortable. Probably the most comfortable I have ever had. Was a bit concerned about the steel toe but have found that isn’t any issues to the weight of the. Tha laceing technology is incredible!!!

Pretty comfortable shoes, and very tough. I really appreciate the dial for tightening the laces. The mechanism works very well and allows you to tighten and loosen your laces quickly and easily.

These are great shoes to wear! I use them at my job as a nice alternative to my boots. The ratcheting laces is a game changer, and I am shocked no other brand thought of it. However, I wish there was a wide variety of the shoes, as it would have bumped my overall to a 5/5.

I hesitantly ordered these work shoes - hoping they would be more comfortable than the Caterpillar boots I also wear. Unfortunately these Cat boots are proving to not be full day dance shoes on concrete floors. So… giving these Blåkläder shoes a spin. So far, they are more comfortable and the ease of entry/exit is certainly a bonus. The composite toe area works as advertised as well as the completely adequate support around the ankle and heel area. I have a demanding job, so I will watch and see how long they last. I have the highest of expectations they will be in service for a long while.

Absolutely amazing shoe! I’ve used workman’s New balance, redwing and a bunch of other work shoes before and none of them hold a flame to these. I’ve had them for 6 months now and normally spend 10-14 hours a day standing on concrete and am extremely happy. I normally need custom insoles for my shoes, but these are extremely comfortable without the ones they come with! I partially melted the side of the shoe of my motorcycle’s muffler, and they’re still water tight! I will be buying another pair if/when these wear out.
