How to measure

Men

A: Waist
Lay the pants flat. Measure the width of the waist.
B: Inside leg
Lay the pants flat. Measure the inseam of the trousers, from the crotch seam to the end of the pant leg.

Women

A: Waist
Lay the pants flat. Measure the width of the waist.
B: Seat
Lay the pants flat. Measure the seat of the pants, 19 cm down from the waistband edge.
C: Inside leg
Lay the pants flat. Measure the inseam of the pants, from the crotch seam to the end of the pant leg.

Really excellent pants for carpenters. Pockets are bellows construction and well thought out for Pica, other marker, utility knife, tape (clips on), speed square, torpedo, etc. Hammer loop and pockets for knee pads. Fabric is lightweight but tough. I do have three suggestions. First, the knee pad pockets should extend further down on the leg. Second, add a reinforced loop to clip a drill or impact driver. Third, add an open bottom slot (narrow pocket) on the left side to hold a nail bar/catspaw or combination square.

My order was a pair of these long craftsman pants and a pair of Shorts. the Long Pants are fine, they are great for summer. The Shorts I have a problem with and that is the black fabric on the back instead of the tan or sand color fabric. I ordered these because I only have Long black Blaklader Pants and Im totally roasting in them. I don't want any Black fabric on them at all- like why black at all its so hot.
Im wondering did I order them incorrectly?? do you sell summer weight shorts w/out the black?
