How to measure

Men

  • A: Waist
    Lay the pants flat. Measure the width of the waist.
  • B: Inside leg
    Lay the pants flat. Measure the inseam of the trousers, from the crotch seam to the end of the pant leg.

Women

  • A: Waist
    Lay the pants flat. Measure the width of the waist.
  • B: Seat
    Lay the pants flat. Measure the seat of the pants, 19 cm down from the waistband edge.
  • C: Inside leg
    Lay the pants flat. Measure the inseam of the pants, from the crotch seam to the end of the pant leg.

Love these shorts. They really hit the mark well with the design and quality. The hammer loop is actually big enough to comfortably get a hammer in and out and the material helps prevent it from grabbing at the handle of the hammer. The pockets are super clever and functional for all sorts of stuff. Nice to not have to get my utility belt on when I just need to carry a few extra bits and bobs around. The fit was true to size, the length is great and I will absolutely be ordering another pair when the time comes. The only reason for 4 stars is I wish there were a couple changes. Namely, the front pockets could be about a half inch deeper. My iPhone 11 doesn't really fit comfortably when working in a seated position. A little more depth would allow it to sit fully in the pocket. The other want is a small utility knife loop on the hip. A good example is the company Thrive. Their painters pants have a spot between the front and rear pocket where a "loop" of fabric has been added. I love being able to attach my utility blade there as it helps keep putty knife pocket dedicated to my putty knife. Now I clip my utility knife to back pocket which is ok, but certainly could be better. Most of this is because I prefer to keep my tools on the right side, with my knife easily accessible. I could use the other, left hip pocket but that's inconvenient as I'm right handed and only grab my knife with the right hand. Overall I would highly recommend these shorts as they seem well made and well thought out.

Absolutely love these shorts. The putty knife pockets on the side are perfectly placed so tools don't jab you while bending or sitting down. Will be my only pants/shorts from now on!
